Marketplace reaches you through eBay.

eBay shows eligible listings from ebay.com, ebay.de and ebay.fr on Facebook Marketplace, and the buyer pays through eBay. List on eBay through Shopify and your listings can show up there too.

  4. A Marketplace sale is an eBay sale

    It reaches Shopify and then us like any eBay order, and the tracking goes back to eBay.

Rules to know

Two rulebooks: eBay's and Meta's.

A partner listing is still an eBay listing, so eBay's rules apply to it. Meta's commerce policies decide what may be shown.

  • Wholesale, not retail

    eBay doesn't allow buying an item from another retailer or marketplace and having it shipped straight to your buyer. Taobao and Weidian are retail marketplaces; 1688 is wholesale.

  • Meta's commerce policies

    Meta lists what may not be sold in commerce listings, copies of brands among them. Check it before you pick what to sell.

  • Only some eBay sites

    eBay brings listings from ebay.com, ebay.de and ebay.fr to Marketplace, and the buyer checks out on eBay.

  • No listing by hand and dropshipping

    Posting Marketplace items yourself and sending us the orders isn't a route we support: we couldn't receive the order or send tracking back.

What one order costs

The sale is an eBay order. Worked out with the fees and the shipping rate we charge today.

An example: the product, its price and its weight are made up. The fees, the tax and the shipping rate are the ones we charge today. Shipping is priced on the weight we measure in our warehouse. Your channel's own fees and your selling price aren't in it.

Questions sellers ask

Can NinjaBuy post to Facebook Marketplace directly?
No. We reach Marketplace only through your eBay listings, which eBay shows there.
Will all my eBay listings appear on Marketplace?
No. eBay and Meta choose which listings show, and where. Treat Marketplace as extra reach for your eBay store.
Where does the buyer pay?
Through eBay's checkout. The sale is an eBay order, paid and tracked through eBay.
Which countries does it work in?
eBay names ebay.com, ebay.de and ebay.fr listings. Check eBay's own pages for where Marketplace shows them.
Do I need a Shopify store?
Yes. The route runs Marketplace → eBay → Shopify → NinjaBuy.
Can I sell Taobao items this way?
Only as stock you bought ahead into our warehouse. eBay doesn't allow shipping straight from a retail marketplace.
What does NinjaBuy cost?
The importer, the sync and the apps are free. On each order you pay for the goods, a CN¥12.00 intake fee per item group, shipping and a handling fee per parcel, with a 14% flat tax on those lines.
