   A photo search finds the same item from other sellers, which is how you find a product you saw outside China, often from the factory that makes it.

   Filter by marketplace, price and category. Pick 1688 only when you need a wholesale source.

Creators who review products from China keep their picks in Google Sheets: a row per product, with the link, a photo and often a note on size or colour. That is a finds sheet.    Either works: the finds page is the same sheet.

   Every product link in the sheet is read. Rows whose note names a variant are matched to it.

   Each product has its margin worked out. Set prices in bulk, drop the weak ones, push the rest.

1688 is China's wholesale marketplace: the sellers are mostly factories and trading companies selling by the piece or by the box. Two reasons to source there:

• eBay allows dropshipping only from a wholesale supplier. 1688 is one; Taobao and Weidian are retail. See eBay.
• Stock on our shelf. Buy your bestsellers ahead by the box, keep them in our warehouse, and each order ships from what is already yours, without waiting on a seller.
• Your own designs. Many factories make to order: your print, your colour, your logo on the product. That is the one way to sell on Etsy with us. See Etsy.

Many 1688 listings have a minimum order. The importer shows it, and a listing that will only sell by the hundred is a stock purchase, not a dropship source. Talk to sales before you buy stock: we help you size the first order.

The same product is often listed by dozens of sellers. The cheapest is not always the one to pick: a seller who runs out, ships late or sends the wrong colour costs you more than a few yuan. Look at:

Each marketplace decides what may be dropshipped and from where. Check the rule before you pick a source, not after the listing is pulled.
